Bullfighting is defended as being art and culture. An “art” that values suffering, pain and constant torture.

I created this work as a protest against bullfighting, using various symbols such as the cover of the “muleta”, the pitchfork and the “banderillas” plunged in the dead bullfighters spine, which are often the last experience that the bull has, condemned to the bullring.

This work was also selected to be apart in an exhibition, "Mostra Nacional de Jovens Criadores" (MJNC) at Almada, Portugal. With 15 categories, "Pega de Cara" was in the Digital Art category.
